Mukta Naik
Fellow, Center for Policy Development
Mukta Naik is a Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research. An architect and urban planner by training, her research interests include housing and urban poverty, urban informality, and internal migration, as well as urban transformations in small cities. At CPR, she focuses on understanding the links between internal migration and urbanization in the Indian context.
Ms. Naik is a graduate of the School of Planning and Architecture, where she is also a visiting faculty member. She has a master’s in urban and regional planning from Texas A&M University and is a doctoral candidate at the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
